Tori Anderson is a Wyoming-born, New York–based actor, writer, and musician.

She grew up riding horses and raising bum lambs, which made it obvious to everyone (or at least to her) that she was destined for the stage. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh and the Stella Adler Studio of Acting, where she honed her craft and her ability to cry in public with great dramatic flair.

She is the co-creator and writer of Rascals, a devised clowning comedy about two lazy raccoons in Brooklyn who accidentally get swept into King Lear. The show premiered with a sold-out run at The Rat NYC in 2024 and returned for an equally successful run July, 2025 at The Tank. She also co-wrote Playdate, the story of two people who meet, fall in love, have a child, and go through a messy divorce, played entirely by two kids on a playground.

A lifelong musician, Tori grew up performing in a semi-professional bluegrass band from the age of 7 until she graduated high school. She plays mandolin, ukulele, flute, tuba, hammer dulcimer, and more, sometimes all in the same week.

Her greatest achievements include: serving as President of her 5th-grade class (she went power hungry early), spelling “antidisestablishmentarianism” without spell check, and [insert third accomplishment before uploading to website].

She dedicates every day to the memory of Jimmy Buffett. You can go to Heaven, but she’s going to Margaritaville.
